Fashion Fictions world-writing workshops: March 2021

Fancy writing a Fashion Fictions World in a couple of hours, in a supportive and convivial atmosphere?

Come to a world-writing workshop!

Tuesday 9 March, 2-4pm GMT
Thursday 11 March, 7-9pm GMT

At this interactive online workshop we’ll use the Contribute a World guide to write individual fictions, with discussion and feedback in small groups. This is a playful and creative process, which we’ve found leads to really fruitful conversations!

At the end of the workshop, you’ll be encouraged to submit your outline to the Fashion Fictions repository.

Here are some quotes from previous attendees:

Absolutely loved it – the facilitation was excellent, the design of the exercises and overall format, the timing for working through the fiction creation, all worked brilliantly.

It was real fun creating together this fiction. Thank you so much for inspiring my fashion world.

I’d like to do it again! Much easier to write it during a workshop like this than find time to do it in busy day to day life.

Come along if you’re interested in fashion and sustainable futures. Just bring pen and paper – or digital equivalent. No creative writing experience needed!

To book, email Amy (amy-twigger.holroyd@ntu.ac.uk) and say which workshop you’d like to attend.

Please note that places are limited. If I’m unable to accommodate you at these workshops, I’ll let you know about further dates in 2021.
