World 48, Exploration A

Drawing of an open wardrobe promising ‘hidden treasures within’.

This World 48 artifact called s.d. magazine seems to be a parallel to i.d. magazine. It is all about sustainable development and features pages on the talent show where the winner’s prize is their product being put in a museum which acts as a showcase for sustainable designers work, the product is also manufactured sustainably by the owners of the show using recycled materials which have been donated by the viewers. Within this magazine is a wardrobe which is designed to preserve and save clothes, making them last longer and require less care. This was the winning design of the 2021 contest which is going to be produced and sold around the world to extend the lifetime of clothes.
