World 143

In World 143, there is a global clothing swap. Countries from across the world share the clothes that they don’t need anymore. Everything that was once meant for the dump gets repurposed and sent around the world.

“Why would this have started” you may ask? Pollution was getting worse and worse as the years went on. Landfills were filling with waste and a large percentage of them were used clothes. Since 2023, there has been a global swap meet every six months. In June and December millions of people have come together to swap unwanted clothes for other clothes or even other recycled goods that would otherwise be thrown away.

What if …

there was a global swap meet for clothes that were unwanted?

Issue:

Pollution is extremely high and the piles of clothes in landfills have a large contribution to it.
