In 1945 in World 201‚ Japan never lost World War II and Singapore remained as Syonan Island. This then resulted in them pursuing their agenda of One Japan where they introduced and imprinted the Japanese way of life, culture and values onto the locals of Syonan.
As a consequence of the tragic after effects of war, people of Syonan refused the idea in fear of losing their own cultural identity until the then dictator of Japan, Hideki Tojo, moved some of his citizens into Syonan which helped in an increased acceptance of the Japanese way of life and culture.
Peace and harmony between the Japanese and the citizens of Syonan eventually settled in, resulting in an abundance of mixed race generation from interracial marriages 80 years later.
