World 234

In World 234, physical modeling was banned in America in the 1990s due to health concerns for fashion models. Digital avatars were created to replace models following the uproar of the ‘heroin chic’ trend. Individual consumers can see said avatars across a wide variety of advertisements on different platforms. Companies are also able to produce different types of digital fashion shows across the country with ease and promptly. This has caused most trends to revert to ‘micro-trends’ as most consumers will quickly get bored of the latest advertisement, and companies will push out new ads at a rapid pace to keep up with the demand for new products.
