In World 264, clothing items for the most part are offered at seasonal “Fashion Markets” and sustainable purchase behaviour is rewarded through a points system.

Clothing items are only available at seasonal “Fashion Markets” taking place 4 times a year 20 clothing items per person per year. According to demand clothing items are produced on the spot and immediately via 3-D-Printer.

Points System rewarding customers for sustainable purchasing decisions regarding clothes. Points can be transformed into Coupons (e.g. food vouchers, Benefits for culture and spare time activities).

Supervisory authority ensures compliance with sustainability policies. Historical juncture was covid 19 because the online fashion trade has reached new dimensions.

What if …

… online shopping was no longer available and only as many clothing items as people actually need were produced (according to demand)?
