Call for participants

Join an experimental new Fashion Fictions workshop! Step into a richly imagined world where a bold new clothes‑rationing policy is about to reshape everyday life. This immersive, creative workshop invites you to explore what sustainable fashion policies might look like – and how they could work in practice. Through playful activities, lively debate, and hands‑on experimentation, the workshop creates space for collective imagining and grounded discussion. By taking part, you’ll contribute to academic research exploring how creative practices and grassroots democracy can play a role in driving change.
- We ran a first workshop in March 2026 and are currently looking for participants for Workshop 2, to take place in May/June 2026 (date tbc)
- Location: Antenna, Beck Street, Nottingham NG1 1EQ
- No prior knowledge or specialist expertise required – just an interest in sustainable change and a willingness to play!
- To express interest in joining the workshop, please email Amy Twigger Holroyd: amy-twigger.holroyd@ntu.ac.uk.
This workshop is an experimental spin-off from the main Fashion Fictions project. To find out more about Fashion Fictions, read our About page or check out the Fashion Fictions book.
