VEIN is a universal, modular garment system based on a kinetic-fitted, versatilely connectable template developed from unified measurements of the human body, which are the same for crown, torso length, forearm length, and foot length. The template, formed by rotating and sizing according to the golden ratio, can be cut with zero waste and attached freely from edge to edge. In this system, clothes and accessories can be easily deconstructed and reconstructed, as well as exchanged as separate pieces, and customized.
VEIN is from a World 279 community built around reuse, adaptation, and personal growth of dress over time. People find appreciation in clothing when they participate in the creation process, making the wearing experience a fluid one instead of a pre-decided, consumable product.
