Resource pack

Fashion Fictions brings people together to generate, experience and reflect on engaging fictional visions of alternative fashion cultures and systems. Through these activities, we gain new perspectives on challenges, possibilities and pathways for change in the real world.

Our Fashion Fictions for Children resource pack introduces Fashion Fictions and the concept of sustainability in relation to clothing. It presents a series of activities designed to take children through all three stages of Fashion Fictions – imagining, exploring and enacting alternative fashion worlds – before inviting them to reflect on what they have learnt through the experience.

The resource pack is aimed at teachers and facilitators working inside or outside school with children aged between 7-14 years. The activities within it can be combined in many different ways to suit different age groups, timescales and settings. The resource pack includes lots of tips and alternative options to help you adapt Fashion Fictions to suit your group and context.

Fashion Fictions is open to anyone to participate. Anyone can use the Fashion Fictions for Children resource to organise their own activities – and we hope many of you will!
