World 122

After directly seeing consequences of our actions in practice in early 2019 people began to seek solutions, that could make an impact and somehow help reverse the course of climate change. The issue of millions of tons of disposed clothes had turned heads and a great revolution was needed.

Collectively people of World 122 agreed to make a radical change regarding garment waste. It was a universal agreement that there is no place for clothes in garbage and finding innovative ways to prevent clothes disposal. Clothes are to be worn, recycled, exchanged, upcycled, downcycled and reused to their fullest extend.

What if …

there are no unwanted clothes? The world would have a great weight off its shoulders if there is no disposed garment waste.

Issue:

garment waste, unwanted clothing

Inspiration:

Ekocharita, recycling companies
