World 152

In World 152, clothes are perceived as mediums of spirituality. This can be traced back to the new religious movement in the 1960s, where Designers are seen as spiritual leaders of their respective branches of design.

Humanity follows a set of commandments broken down in terms of material, processes and actions. Within this world clothes possess a symbiotic relationship with one’s spiritual well-being, empowering the consumer with feelings of ownership and responsibility towards one’s garments. Repetitive actions like the simple stitching of a seam are rituals that are commonplace within this movement.

What if …

garments possess a symbiotic relationship with one’s spiritual wellness?

Sorun:

Aşırı tüketim
