World 229

In World 229, nature is devastated by climate change and plants, animals are rarely to be seen. In this context of desert for the eyes, beauty becomes considered public good. Looking bad is anti-constitutional, out of law behaviour. Taste is a specific knowledge that is formed and educated in schools and throughout the life; it is part of political programs, beautycare is considered as important as housing or healthcare.

Every person is trained in crafting techniques, everyone is able to make their own garments. There is no retail system, but ceremonies and rituals for the presentation and the donation of wearable objects. Fashion always has to be functional as well, but there are special occasions to share experimental and visionary garments. Caring for beauty embraces also a special care for nature, as it is considered as maximum manifestation of beauty.

What if …

beauty was a guiding quality in crafting fashion?

Issue targeted:

Poor quality is actually damaging innate human culture for beauty, intended as a great, harmonic quality.
