World 249

In World 249, plastic is banned from clothing production. Government and international organizations understand the impact plastic has on textile waste and pollution, and decide to ban plastic from all aspects of clothing production, from the materials themselves to the packaging, etc.

Instead, we turn to natural materials, fostering an innovative, eco-conscious, and slow fashion system. Materials like glass, metal, wood, ceramics, and plant and animal fibers form the backbone of everyday items and fashion.

People learn to value durability and longevity over convenience and trendiness.
