World 272

In World 272, people feel pride in wearing garments that demonstrate lineage to their ancestors and give a sense of connection. These clothes are adapted and embellished with dyeing and printing skills alongside sewing, mending and upcycling are taught in schools. Relationships emerge through these contemporary additions which add aesthetics to and integrate with the antiquated garments with patches, patina and stains indicate authenticity and are seen as the ultimate style symbols. Social media is only focused upon techniques, approaches and methods to adapt and care for your clothes, with celebration and positive feedback.
